Superb care. We had my father in law here prior to COVID and received such great care that we decided to bring my mother in law here this past year. The staff always puts the safety, well being and cleanliness of the residents first. In addition, the staff is well trained and sensitive to the needs of the residents. The dining experience is always top notch with good food with breakfast lunch and dinner- their family brunches are always a hit!

Our experience has been wonderful! First with my father 5 years ago and now with mom. Everyone here has the utmost respect for their clients and families. They care for their clients from start of care thru all the changes. It is very clean, the food is enjoyed and the clients report they love the parties! It is a very positive and happy place! Sunrise of Bethesda is such a warm and welcoming community. From day one, our family has been provided with such attention to detail and genuine care and concern. What makes this community so special is the feeling of being part of a new family where the care for your loved one's well being is a top priority. There is clear and consistent communication. Everyone at Sunrise of Bethesda has taken the time to get to know us. The medical team is phenomenal! Our loved one has thrived here and is so engaged with all the wonderful activities. They have a motto which we have seen "living with purpose". We have to say our loved one is enjoying her life and has made new friends while embracing the confidence which accompanies being in a resident driven community. To me, Sunrise Bethesda is the best of 5 different facilities my parents have lived in over the past 6 years. From the executive director all the way to the kitchen staff, the people are top notch. Not only are they selected well — with apparent thoroughness — but they are high quality humans doing sometimes difficult work with humor, kindness, and great patience. I mean, this applies to nearly every person there! And if a staff member somehow doesn’t meet this standard, there is action. Is it perfect? Nowhere is. Is the food always 100% fabulous? No. But I can say their monthly family brunches are really good. And staff takes great care to ensure that food is prepared according to each resident’s needs (e.g., mechanical soft). I recommend it as a place for your elder!
Sunrise of Bethesda was recommended to us by our family friends. I have been very impressed with the care they provided to my mother. The staff are very kind and caring. The nurse is first rate - very knowledgeable and dedicated especially Anu the resident care director always very prompt to report any changes. The administration is efficient and responds quickly to all questions and concerns. Best place to age in place
