After the unexpected passing of my father-in-law, we faced a dire situation: finding a memory care facility for my mother-in-law within a week and coordinating her move from another state. After touring several facilities in the region, we found great comfort in Sunrise of Bellevue. The community is cozy, impeccably clean, and welcoming. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, compassionate, and helpful. The team went above and beyond to accommodate our urgent needs and ensure a smooth transition for my mother-in-law. Since moving in, she has received exceptional care and has quickly adapted to her new environment. She has made many friends and frequently tells us how kind the staff is and how happy she feels. My mom has been at Sunrise of Bellevue for almost a year and WOW! I am so grateful that we chose Sunrise of Bellevue. The staff are all AWESOME! She requires full service, shower, bathroom, and dressing needs. The entire team treats my mom with dignity, even when things go awry, and they help her dress so that she looks styling and feels great about her appearance. I was doing everything myself before she arrived at Sunrise and was emotionally exhausted and completely fried. Actually, still am, LoL. Sunrise has also helped me start my recovery process because I can now rely on them for many of her immediate needs. Another awesome aspect of Sunrise of Bellevue is the staff always have multiple activities for the residents everyday to keep them engaged. The staff also go above and beyond in monitoring the residents to ensure their safety. I am impressed!
I can’t say enough good things about Sunrise of Bellevue! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and care that the entire team provides. The staff is exceptionally attentive and compassionate, always going above and beyond to ensure that each resident is treated like family. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that create a welcoming and home-like atmosphere.
As a hospice nurse, I have had several patients at Sunrise. The staff went out of their way to make them feel appreciated and respected. The nursing staff consistently knew how my patients were doing and what they needed. Now it’s my turn to find a place for my mom. Sunrise is at the top of the list.

The general manager is a standout; she is always present, actively working, and promptly follows up with any questions or concerns, which has been greatly appreciated. A unique feature of the facility is the house dog, Bob. When Bob is on duty, he wears a tie and greets everyone with enthusiasm. His presence adds a special touch to the atmosphere and is a favorite among both residents and visitors. Overall, Sunrise of Bellevue has provided outstanding care and a supportive environment for my mother. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.
