The techs at Sunrise Memory care unit in Sandy Springs stole my Driver's license. I left my bag in a client room and went to look for my dementia client that wandered off. Sunrise Huntcliff is a fantastic community. The team goes above and beyond when setting up care. Marc Anthony has assisted numerous families that I have worked with in moving into the community. He is extremely professional, kind and thorough. Shonda is also an incredible Executive Director. This community provides high quality care with a compassion and professionalism.
This is an older but lovely facility nestled into some gorgeous woods. They offer independent living only, and we need a place that graduates to assisted living. We liked it very much!
Cannot express enough the satisfaction we had with Sunrise Huntcliff II. Marc Anthony and all the employees were eager to satisfy my wifes needs and truly cared about her. The facility was in a beautiful location in a wooded area. The highlight of my wifes day was seeing the 4 deer who visited by her room window most every day. Both the sevice and regard for her care is much appreciated.
My father lived here for eight years. The wonderful ladies who cared for him daily were always kind, considerate, and ensured his comfort. However, when we were cleaning out his room after he passed, the higher-level staff never acknowledged us. They looked at us, walked past us, and didn't say a word. The only people who expressed their sympathy were the caregivers and a maintenance man who had only been there a month and didn't even know my dad. I can't adequately describe my disappointment with the management's lack of response. I had to track someone down to figure out our next steps. No one called, no one emailed—not even my father's care manager. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this facility and will look elsewhere if I ever need assisted living for another family member.
