Both my grandmothers moved to Sunnyside a couple years back and I cannot recommend it enough! The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care. The facilities are beautiful and well kept. I love hearing about all the friends they’ve made and all the activities and classes they are doing. It makes me very happy to know they always have community around them and meaningful things to do. My family often jokes we’re already ready to sign up ourselves.

My Dad has been a resident since 2013. Sunnyside has always taken great care of him and has kept him safe during COVID. Kudos to the employees and their compassionate hearts to do what they do! I now work at Sunnyside and have the privilege of working side-by-side with this excellent staff every day.
I've lived here since July 2015 and love it. There are a lot of activities, the restaurant on grounds is pretty good. The employees are friendly and helpful.
I would like to compliment and say how wonderful the staff is here. Especially the young lady Tanya Zudilin, she is extremely helpful and nice and always leaves a smile on my face. She is a great person. Just like the rest of the staff. Definitely what makes this place a great place, its not just the homes, its people like Tanya and the rest of the staff that make it complete. Highly recommend.
Moving to Sunnyside was one of the best life style decisions we made. Has all that make Virginia a wonderful place to live plus dedicated caring staff. I am proud that Sunnyside takes care of its own. Full disclosure: no ocean.
