My mother has been at Sunny Acres for about a month. The nursing staff as well as the nurses aids have been nothing short of fantastic. As with any nursing home at times the staff appears overwhelmed. My mother has been in three different rehabilitation centers. Sunny Acres is by far the best center my mother has been in as a patient. My family has always been politely greeted by the front desk staff each and every time we have visited my mother. A special shout out to George the resident dog.

People at Sunny Acres are very caring, professional, attentive, and friendly. Kerry the social worker was super nice, kind, and supportive. I Had a wonderful experience with one of the nursing assistants who paid very close attention to detail when taking care of my Dad
This was the place that my wife passed away. I loved that nurses were compassionate and caring. The food was not like you order in a restaurant but it was good enough for my wife telling me all the time that she was eating all of it. I strongly recommend this place for your loved ones. Hello. During my early formative years I was awed and drawn to the phrase: " many are called, but few are chosen" The Sunny Acres staff in my experience is called to serve and they respond to the call in a mighty way, making them the chosen ones. The care is incredible, the place is clean and that translates to better experiences for short term residents and a full rich life for long term residents. I am immensely grateful for the dedication of the new ownership that furthers the legacy of a name wrought in history.
My grandmother was sent here after a stomach aneurysm. She developed a life threatening infection in her surgical area. This wasn’t discovered until my grandmother demanded to go back to the hospital herself and they found it immediately. I absolutely would not recommend this facility to anyone that wants their loved one to receive actual care.
