I moved my mom to Sunabella at Savannah four months ago and haven't looked back even once. The caregivers at Sunabella are so kind and caring. It is so comforting to see them comforting someone and to see them stop what they are doing to listen to a resident. I moved my mom three hours away from home because of the care and the beautiful facility, and because the State of Georgia has an Aging in Place Law that precludes my mother from ever having to move again regardless of her condition. In South Carolina, facilities can "discharge" residents with 30 days notice and families have no recourse. This happened to my mom. A new administration came in and decided there were a host of residents they considered undesirable for the bottom line and they quickly discharged them. in the meantime, the residents were neglected in ways that are abhorrent. The blessings that have come since that difficult time have more than made up for what we went through. A highly recommend Sunabella at Savannah to anyone who wants a loving memory care facility environment for their loved one.

**Highly Recommend Sunabella Senior Living!** From the very start, Jamilynn was incredibly kind and easy to reach. My father-in-law needed a place to stay after a procedure, and no other nursing home would take him. Jamilynn went above and beyond, making calls and diligently ensuring that he could be accommodated. During our tour, we were impressed by the clean and comfortable rooms. A highlight was that my father-in-law was allowed to bring his bird, which made the transition so much easier for him. He also loves spending time outdoors, and the back door to his room gave him the privacy to enjoy nature whenever he wished. The facility offers a range of activities, and residents can choose to be as involved as they want. The staff checks on them multiple times a day, and they wear a medical alert device for added safety. When it comes to pricing, Sunabella was about half the cost of other places we considered. But what really stands out is their integrity. We were fully prepared to pay for the highest level of round-the-clock care, as my father-in-law requires more assistance than others. Despite knowing that we were willing to pay full price, after assessing his needs, they offered the care at half the cost! We were stunned by their honesty and commitment to providing the best care without overcharging. I cannot recommend Sunabella enough. They truly care about their residents and their families. --- Jamie Weaver
I'm writing a review not because I have a loved one in this facility because it's a good facility for your love one but I'm writing a review because a worker there that I know contacted me late night telling me about a housekeeping job that I was looking for gave me the director or manager Audrey number I reached out to her had an interview and was offered the job and willing to leave my job and start here but I needed time to get my background check done because I had a bill due whereas I couldn't get it right then I texted the manager Friday never heard back called her Monday she said she no longer needed help but I believe it's because the person I know told her something and to me if that's how you handle and conduct business I would never want to work for someone like that let alone have my love one there it was absolutely no reason and if it was she could have just told me at my interview just a waste of my time very unprofessional Audrey.
Amazing place for seniors. The activities and engagement makes it feels like home. The staff is very friendly and warm to guests. I’m happy with my choice to bring my mother here as the time draws near. The bonus is the beautiful landscape and golf course across the street.
I have had the honor of caring for my father in law for 8 years. He has advanced stages of Lewy Body Dementia. I have had nothing but wonderful care for him (and concern for our family) since I placed him in Insignia. The staff is always respectful, loving, caring and kind to all of the residents regardless their situation. The facility is clean and well organized. There are ALWAYS activities planned to engage everyone. Not once have I been there when anyone who needed prompt attention was not looked after. My father in law has trouble eating sometimes and recently choked on his dinner. Lisa Myers and the staff jumped into action to make sure he did not choke to death. They have worked with me to find a better plan for his care in his current state. I cannot say enough good things about this home. If you are looking to place your loved one in a HOME and not just a facility for care, you should look no farther than Insignia. They will be treated well and cared for just like family.
