This is a nice place, that had more of a homey feel. Unlike previous nursing homes my family member has been in, they took residence out on field trips once a week to places and sent us photos which we really valued. There were some amazing staff that you can tell are passionate about their job and great people, and then there are ones that were quite apathetic and couldn’t even pretend to care when visitors were there which were evidently only there for a check. Unlike other nursing homes, this one smelled nice and clean. They have brand new furniture and were updating the rooms. On the General living side everyone seemed happy and the dining arrangement seems enjoyable for them. I appreciated that every day they had activities to do and the activity director was great. One issue I had was getting a hold of my loved one from the memory care side. More than half the time I would call it would go straight to voicemail or no one would answer. I think they need more staff. Overall I felt safe having my loved one here. Just some points to consider when looking for a place to find for a loved one.

Excellent customer service, great staff and amazing work ethic. They have taken care of my mom for more than a year and can only be grateful of everything they do for her, from her personal care, mental and physical, they treat her like a priority. The staff is always friendly and open to any questions you might have. They take your concerns serious and take care of them in timely manner. I recommend this ALF to anyone in need of a 24/7 basic care. They are expert at knowing when to help my mom out and when to let her do it on her own, which is a biggie considering that our elders love to keep their independence as much as they can.
Facility looks beautiful, very clean. Jennifer is amazing! Great location and prices. Meals look terrific. Friendly staff!

Pacifica Sun City Senior Living has been great to my mother. She spent over 2 years in the assisted living side, and was recently moved over to memory care. She is very happy. When I take her to my house, she constantly asks when I am taking her back home. She feels safe there, and I love that the staff know her and greet her by name when she passes them. They really treat her like family.
