Came in for a tour and wow I was so impressed. Meredith was awesome so knowledgeable and very helpful. I met some of the other residents who all seemed very friendly. The apartments were spacious and beautifully remodeled. I am so happy to have found a place like this for my neighbor to live.

Stay far away from this facility for your loved ones. It is run by people with complete lack of care when it comes to their residents (with the exception of Binki). My family and I have had multiple encounters with the staff about negligence. Camilla does not take accountability and completely gas lights the residents and their families. We got to a point where we put a camera in our father's room just to make sure he was safe (with written permission of course) and witnessed aides sitting on the bed and having our Dad move around them to undress and help him with his catheter amongst other things. They claim to be a facility that can handle catheter care but that is a blatant lie. Our Dad was hospitalized a couple of times due to infections from untrained staff not keeping the area and equipment sterile. Upon bringing multiple things to Camillas attention of what was caught on camera she called for a care plan meeting (that she rescheduled and postponed for a couple of weeks), and at that meeting told us that starting immediately due to our fathers cognitive decline he either needed somebody monitoring 24/7 or be put immediately into memory care. It's funny how there was no correspondence of this issue via email or a phone call about this apparent pressing issue until the day of the family meeting. Within a week of that meeting we moved our father out. I would encourage you to do your due diligence and heed the warnings of the bad reviews before you consider moving your family into this train wreck.
After a few short weeks my Mom is throughly enjoying her life at Summit after resisting assisted living. From the extra attentive staff to the beautiful accommodations her quality of life has been totally enhanced. The vast array of activities offered has breathed new life into her. So very happy we made this choice.
Uncaring. Summit Place gave my wife, who has dementia and arthritis, a medicine that sent her to the hospital with swollen legs. Being there was upsetting, and my wife was given a low rating in "Cooperation." Because of the rating, Summit did not accept her back after four days when her legs were healed. She spent four additional days at the hospital while we found another facility. My wife was at Summit Place for two months. Because of this incident, her mental and physical wellbeing were worse when she left than when she entered. No one there is committed to looking out for the residents and doing what is best for them.
My mother moved in to Summit Place a couple of months ago, and I was worried about how she would respond to the new living situation. Lesley and team helped me through the move-in process and it went very smoothly. My mother really likes her unit, the facilities overall but most of all the people. It really is a small community of residents and staff and the staff goes to extra lengths to take care of and show a personal touch with the residents. This goes a long way in making someone feel at home! So far everything has been great and my mom is enjoying her new home.
