I had to take the time to express my experience. I know all too well most people find the time to complain vs giving compliments. I want to shout out the administrator Christina P. In choosing a place for my father I want caring compassionate and understanding staff. I was given a thorough tour of the facility with my father and no stone was left unturned and every question and concern was answered by Christina with grace and poise, I so appreciated her patience. I know facilities are not perfect but when you have a caring and understanding easy to speak with facilitator such as Christine, I know any needs or concerns will be met. I also met other staff along my tour that were equally as friendly and professional, thank you!!! I had a chance to meet some teenagers that work in the kitchen and they were caring like an old soul. Thank you Summit Hill, I found my dad's place.

Summit Hill is not a good place. To send any of your love one.The the director Christina is horrible it's like child play. She very rude to the residents. The kitchen is not up to code.As the year past talking to the residents. I feel so sorry for them. They takes all the people money..There is only one person for the whole building and he taping everything to make it work. And he tries to do his best. But over all I love the residents. And the employees don't even have a chance. The director so mean to the employees.I can say alot more but what I will say is a dysfunctional building .
I take my therapy cat to visit my mom, sometimes, and it's ok but wishes my mom had her apartment , she moved out of,
Garbage facility. Started out fine but ended in disgust and shame. No assistance with cleaning for those who are in wheelchairs, helping get sheets off, basic hygiene, etc. There were several times where we weren’t informed for hours after our loved one had been taken to the hospital. The list goes on and on. And when my dad died just a little over 48 hours ago, we were told to come clean up his room just 12 hours after he died. It is absolutely disgusting that this place is so money-hungry to get the next paying body into his room. Not even given a few days to begin to grieve the death of our beloved father before we were forced to go through his belongings and clean out his room. If you love the person you’re needing to place in an assisted living facility, don’t walk, but run from this place.
Not from a client-living-there's point of view, but staff was easy to work with and we were able to help my person obtain a private studio with private bath. There are very few possibilities like this available to those currently working through MA waivers- and Cosmina greatly helped make it a very easy and a smooth transition. Staff are willing to help clients move through all kinds of problems and barriers to housing. Thank you Cosmina for making my experience with Summit Hill a good one this time around! Thank you to all the staff at Summit for giving homes and care to some of our most vulnerable.
