Warning! I would not recommend sending your loved ones here! Recently my 87 yr old father was in their care here for about 4 weeks after having 2 emergency surgeries. The pt department was not consistent of getting my father up in a wheelchair or regular pt sessions. The nursing care depended on which nurse he had in his care. Besides a few good nurses, some other nurses didn’t rotate dad every 2 hours and his bed sores didn’t heal. His colostomy bag had lots of leakage while here. The head social worker Stacy made it difficult for us to transfer him to a better facility. She was also very rude to us. It took about 1 week to finally transfer him to a really excellent skilled nursing center where he was well taken care of. I would definitely look at different facilities before you choose a skilled nursing home for you or your loved ones.

My mom stayed here for about 5 weeks. It was very hard for me to let someone else take care of her. All the staff took good care of her everyone was very nice and helpful. CNA and Nurses were very attentive. The therapy staff was great and very knowledgeable and set goals to meet. From being admitted to her coming home every one was very helpful and everything went really smoothly . All medical equipment and home healthcare services were setup. I would definitely use there facility again if needed.Thank you so much for everything you all do.
My mom stayed here recently after an injury and this has by far been the worst skilled nursing facility. The nurses and PTs were great, but the facility overall is a nightmare. Horrible food (you're cooking for adults not kids, you can't just throw slop on the plate and call it spaghetti or serve bratwurst and sauerkraut or powdered eggs and think its ok), when she was discharged, they discharged her with no medication, so now she is home with no medications for over 24 hours. Following up with the facility is a joke. Everyone is always in meetings or unavailable. Do not let your loved one come here unless it is a last resort and if its a last resort, try and get them out of there as quickly as possible and don't believe these fake 5 star reviews. I find it hard to believe anyone is leaving this place a genuine 5 star review.
"I had the pleasure of visiting Sugar Land Health Care Center regularly as my father resides there as of this moment. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, always ensuring that residents' needs are met with compassion. The facility is well-maintained and offers a variety of activities that keep residents engaged, such as Bingo, etc. While the meals could use a bit more variety, the overall environment is warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend Sugar Land Health Care Center to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
My dad went 24 hours without receiving any medication after admission. Completely unacceptable. We pulled him out immediately. Lies will follow… but I have taken the necessary next steps
