The people that did the hardest jobs and continued to show up each and every day were spread too thin and worked too hard. Turn over rates are very high. Simple tasks such as handwashing, brushing teeth, and nail care were not getting done. Cold days my father was dressed in shorts (x2 I checked and he did have pants in his drawer). Everything smells of urine. Activities are great for those that can still participate. I was so hopeful when he moved in. Advocate for your family! Go often to check on them!!

Toured several assisted living and memory care facilities. Not only is StoryPoint the one of the best, they are one of the highest rated in Knox County! The facility is beautiful with outside courtyards. Have several friends with loved ones at this facility, they are all extremely happy with StoryPoint. What impressed me the most was the staff! Very caring and sincere, from housekeeping to management. This is truly a 5 star place to live.
We had a very positive experience when my husband was in Memory Care. He did so well with having a routine, games for memory, music & an experienced wonderful staff! He was able to return home for now because he is at the beginning of his medical journey! We now have tools & understanding of how to handle it at home. Thank you so much!
The entire staff is great. Everyone is so caring and really show their love. The facility is clean. They truly care about my loved one.
Just moved my dad out of this facility. There is a huge turnover since Manorhouse sold out to StoryPoint. I gave them a chance to improve as change is very hard. You will notice all the new employee signs and empty rooms when you go there. There is a reason for it. I have had major issues & ongoing issues such as not cleaning room, not washing or changing bed linens, not following care plan (bathing and brushing teeth (note he had healthy gums before he entered this facility), meds left in room in cup, etc). Other issues of missing items, conflict in communication (doctor and nurse not being on same page), attitude from administrator upon trying to get issues corrected (not acceptable). They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Below are pics so you can make an informed decision.
