It is a beautiful facility, the management and the care team are working perfectly, and residents are having a lot of activities during the day. Also, it is good maintained and always clean here. You will love this place, and I can highly recommend to your loved ones! ED Jeanae and community leaders Porsha, Nikki are doing a great job together !

Outlandish deceitful management on site and in the headquarters. Medical Care Plan filled with incorrect information that they flat out refuse to correct. Unanswered calls for meetings. Except when they pushed a meeting to me on a Friday evening with two days notification and called it my fault I did not attend. We are over one year of residency and reached a limit. Even the best of their staff care givers have resigned due to lack of faith in the management or care ethics. Yes, ethics are poor. Capstone was that after one full year they decided to clean out my mother's cubby of fresh snacks, claiming that the expiration date on the peanut crackers and hard candies had expired and they could not leave old food....which was not old and was acceptable for the year up to today, when I had easily monitored the snack expiration dates. For $8100 per month, the top level of care is demanded, and we only receive second hand management. Poor experience. The few high quality experiences are trounced bythe endless onslaught of irresponsible management oversight.
Storypoint where do I begin… I set up a tour for December 19th, Portia treated me like I was her very best friend, she really sold me on the place, making it sound like the very best place to take your elderly parents!! Went back on December 24th to fill out some paperwork and leave a non refundable deposit of $2040.00. At the time thought it was worth it!! January 15th I moved all of my dad’s belongings in, January 16th I moved him in… this is where they get you, because I did not sign the lease as of yet. Got my dad settled, and went down to sign the lease, well the amount I was quoted just 2 weeks prior went up by $1,000, when I questioned it, I was told prices went up with the new year!! I get prices going up, but this is simply price gauging!! I was stuck tho, and decided to sign, at that time Portia welcomed me to the “family” my dad was there 5 days before he took an ambulance to the hospital, upon returning from the hospital, he was prescribed some meds, that Storypoint said they would order and deliver to his room. I was told this on Thursday, it took till the following Monday to deliver!! Tuesday January 28th my dad took another ambulance to the hospital, the care partner Tawana, had me DoorDash ensure and Vicks, to the front desk, stating maybe my dad was just not taking in enough nutrients, she assured me she would get it to his apartment, even after I texted her letting her know it was delivered… it never made it to his apartment, and he died on January 31st. I notified Portia, nurse D, nurse D notified jenae (the executive director) that my dad was being put in comfort care, and then into hospice on January 30th. This awful place is now telling me that because I didn’t give them 30 days notice, I still have to pay for all of February, even though my dad did not stay there 1 day in February!! The amount of money these people are scamming from sad innocent families is unbelievable, these people that claim to be family, are heartless. Makes me so sad, that that’s where my dad spent his last few days.. not to mention that they didn’t even hold up their end of the contract, my dad was almost there 2 weeks, they didn’t even clean his apartment, they did not do his laundry, and they did not care for him!! It was an outside nurse from Homecare that took one look at him, called me, and then called 911. If it wasn’t for her, I’m sure they would’ve just let him die there alone… If you’ve made it this far, beware!! These people are not who they say they are, they don’t care about you or your loved one, it’s a business, and they’re all about the money!! If I could leave no stars I would!!
I had a family member stay here for a very short while. Horrible, neglectful care. My family member had bruises all on her hips from a fall she had taken and I didn't get contacted until HOURS later. And her room was a MESS! On top of staff leaving multiple trash bags outside of my family members room and multiple others residents rooms. Leaving pills for whoever to take whatever on their countertops. Very unprofessional. Could definitely be cleaner, definitely unacceptable.. On top of management are MIA, the wellness director specifically, is very very unprofessional and doesn't have the best attitude. There is a lack and NEGLECT from staff and the WD for the most basic skills. On top of the ED just about always being MIA especially when needed. If you are considering putting family here or even working here. Please consider elsewhere. Just very neglectful, selfish staff all around.
Laronica Harris and her staff are a true blessing. My mother was cherished and loved by her and her staff in every way. We couldn't ask for a better location for a loved one. If there were more than 5 stars available, they deserve them.
