If you love your family member, do not send them to Stonebridge. Months ago, my family made the difficult decision to place my grandmother at Stonebridge for rehabilitation. It was local and had beds available, so we went with it. That was a mistake we deeply regret. Red flags began immediately: On our first visit, we witnessed a staff member carelessly shove a man in a wheelchair out of the way in a common area. At the time, I brushed it off—but now I see it was a clear sign of how little compassion the staff showed. My grandmother went over a month without being bathed. Her room was consistently filthy. Every time we visited, there were skin flakes under the bed and trash left in the same spots. I ended up cleaning the room myself—more than once. When I contacted a manager about HIPAA concerns, she told me she couldn't share certain information—then proceeded to share it anyway. Completely unprofessional and alarming. My grandmother had to be taken to the emergency room by ambulance due to their ongoing neglect. A doctor claimed to have seen her multiple times, yet we later confirmed he never had. There are more issues I could list, but the bottom line is this: once we removed her from Stonebridge and took over her care ourselves, her condition drastically improved. She’s now doing so much better—because she’s finally being cared for. Please think twice before sending someone you love to Stonebridge. No one deserves the experience we went through.

Diedra provided an outstanding tour of Stonebridge in Duncannon while searching for a rehab facility and potential long term care for my father. I was amazed!! The facility was incredibly clean, organized, and the staff was welcoming and very friendly. While there I observed one of the music activities for the residents and was very pleased with the level of positive interaction amongst the residents and staff. I’ve visited over 8 facilities and called 10+ more and my experience from the initial phone call to actually visiting Stonebridge is top notch. Dale Hoy answered every question, and provided critical information to ensure my father’s transfer to Stonebridge and his journey to recovery will be successful. I highly recommend!!!
Older building establishment. Friendly employees from what I've experienced. I don't have a family member here, but only visit at this time. Appears they have a fair amount of activities scheduled, which is positive.
Gary received excellent care for the last 5 years of his life. Staff was very caring.
Recently, my grandfather reached a stage in his 93 year life where he needed more care than our family could provide. We were recommended to Stonebridge and I write to tell you that our entire family is grateful for the care he received. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful men and women who cared for him while he was at Stonebridge. Each time I visited him, I was so thankful for your staff. Your staff treated my grandfather like he was family. They slowed down when they came in the room and they checked to see how he was and how he was doing. He told me repeatedly how nice everyone was to him and how thankful he was of the care. On the day that my grandfather passed, a cousin of mine was first to arrive at the facility. When he got to my grandfather's bedside, there was already a gentleman from the facility just sitting there with my grandfather just keeping him company until we all could arrive. We were all so thankful that the Stonebridge staff was so caring. When my last days on the planet draw near, I can only hope and pray that there will still be kind, loving people like your staff and facilities like Stonebridge to care for me. Thank you all so much!
