My sister, who has special needs and lives on a fixed income, was at Sterling assisted living for about 4 months. She really liked the location and her apartment. Unfortunately, we found that Sterling seemed to nickel and dime her for things that should've been covered by her insurance. There was also an $800.00 "Community Lifestyle Fee" that each person must pay before renting (instead of paying a deposit), which means she lost that money when THEY SAID they could no longer meet her needs. There was lack of communication with management and a lot of turn over in staff. I wouldn't recommend Sterling or Accura HealthCare.

Would not recommend placing your loved one here the staff directors and nurses do not respond to residents for help and when guests need assistance locating someone or to assist with a simple question they will ihnore you to the point were they shut there office doors in your face.
Horrible experience dealing with this facility. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Rachel (Housing Director) lacks follow through, does not respond to simple requests, and blames others for her inability to do her job.
Friendly staff and great community.
