I have been living at Sterling Estates West Cobb for five years. I have never been happier. The tenants are are all great, friendly people. The activities are plentiful, you can be busy from morning till night if you want to. The food is very good and the wait staff is amazing. The activity personnel are extremely nice and helpful, and are always looking for things to do. Over the last two years, we have had overnight trips to Savannah, Charleston, Louisville, and Asheville. There have been many offsite local events such as Atlanta Braves games, restaurant trips, Friday outings to various museums and other sights of interest. There were special events such as a Masters putting tournament, a Kentucky Derby race, and a Caribbean Cruise. We have Happy Hour almost every Thursday with free wine, beer, and cold drinks. We have games like Rummikub, Hand and Foot, Bingo, Mahjong, and Bridge. We have art classes with excellent instructors, water aerobics, and line dancing. There are always fun things to do. The Wellness Center (gym) is phenomenal. The trainers are excellent, and we have many fitness classes, as well as independent workouts. All in all, I cannot imagine a place to stay that would offer all of the things that Sterling offers. It is truly an wonderful place to live. Why I enjoy living at Sterling: Whatever you enjoy you will find here at Sterling. I have learned to garden, line dance, and play table tennis. They have religious services on campus. Drivers will take you for medical, food, shopping, or just fun trips. The wellness center will help you to be in the best shape you are capable of. The activities director provides trips that are both fun and stimulating. Most of all, your days are as full as you want them to be. My children feel I am in a safe and caring place, as for me, I have found my "Happy Place". Dee Stoll
Sterling Estates West Cobb is a wonderful place to live. I’ve been an independent resident since the first day it opened, and I have never been sorry for the decision to move here. There are always activities to participate in, a super staffed Wellness Center, excellent food, and the most caring staff I’ve ever seen. I have taken Sterling sponsored trips to Dollywood, Louisville, Charleston, and Savannah, and a myriad of trips to art museums, history museums, gardens, aquariums, train and boat rides, and a variety of other activities. We can participate in bocce games, shuffleboard, and pool exercises. The opportunities are there, and I am happy that I have them. I knew it was the place for me when I needed to move, and I am even more positive of that after the almost eight years I’ve lived here.
The Sterling Savannah trip on May 2nd through the 5th was fantastic. Thank you Jill and Deana for a wonderful time. The planning and the company were great. If you are an active adult and want a fun place to live, then look no further.....this is the place. The staff here really go above and beyond to make our retirement enjoyable. It just keeps getting better.... I'm looking forward to the next trip locally or long distance. What fun!!
