I’ve been to several rehab and long-term care facilities, and this one truly stands out. It is exceptionally clean and run by a professional, caring staff. The team is attentive and engaged, always putting the well-being of patients first. One of the biggest strengths here is the nurse practitioner—she takes the time to know each patient and their family, ensuring care is tailored to individual needs. No place is perfect, but this facility goes above and beyond to provide quality care and support.

My mother-in-law was here after suffering a stroke. Chose this facility due to the high ratings at that time. Extremely disappointing experience. Often => 15 minutes to answer a call button only to be told "will be back in a few minutes to assist". The few minutes were often up to 45 mins. When advising she needed help to go to the bathroom, we were informed for her to just "pee or poop in her diaper". She was in control of her bowel movements and did not chose to soil her diaper if avoidable. Rehab was a complete joke. Working with her OT and PT basically was placing a hand on top of a sponge or ball between her knees with no physical movement noted. There was a little more emphasis on PT but minimal which far superceded her OT. Some of the staff although minimal, care about their duties as care providers. Most were there milking time for a paycheck which reflected the attitudes encountered. A meeting with the "Director" was a complete waste of time! He never made note of any complaint being voiced during the "meeting". His only response was they were short staffed. Any professional investigation of complaints would require notations of the conversation / complaints addressed. This basically covers both parties! Extreme abuse of private cellphone usage by most of the worker's. Many times multiple worker's gathered together in the kitchen/breakroom area noted while call buttons were unanswered. Breaks are deserved by worker's but not all at once. My wife was with her mom seven days a week from around 8:30am - 4:00pm. for weeks. These are not random observations. Please do not make the same mistake our family did! Do not place any family member at this facility.
I have a great uncle currently in the rehab and it's a joke. We try to find a nurse no one to be seen. Given wrong numbers that do not work to get ahold of anyone. He is currently almost dead cause of age and the fact they seem to not be attentive. There seems to only be one nurse for 20 rooms and even then I almost never see anyone when we visit checking on him. I understand it is rehab but there should at least be the same nurse every day and somewhat know what's happening and not repeating that they don't know what's going on. I would not recommend this place to a dog let alone a loved one. The staff seem to be trying but the facility is stretching them thin and that needs to change as lives are on the line.
How can I put this.... My Aunt was recently admitted for physical therapy (she's also blind) and has been here for a week so far. While there seems to be a few (I can't stress that part enough) decent workers here, this place is a JOKE with their service here to her. Their wheelchairs are just raggedy, her therapy doesn't seem to be progressing that well enough with whatever they're doing and their response time is just simply BAD not to mention that she is still in a bed that is so stiff to her where a friend of ours tried to bring in a cushion but it still doesn't work! I understand there's a lack of staff but even if that was a legit excuse there just doesn't feel like a lot of people here even have a heart here, sometimes it feels honestly like they're just here for a paycheck. And the worst part? At the rate they're going with her "therapy" (they don't even have anyone trying to help her on weekends!) she's just going to be further weakened... To anyone who sees this; stay FAR AWAY from this place as you can get and do not let your loved ones get admitted here. I honestly wish I could have given this place a negative score.
If I could give this place a negative star that would be more accurate. The rehab part of this facility is an absolute disgrace. Elder abuse is widespread. The way they treat the patients needs to be investigated. Many complaints were ignored. Filed a grievance and it went nowhere. From the top staff to the bottom needs to be shaken up. A few cna’s and nurses were wonderful and actually care about the patients. Conditions and equipment are outdated and deplorable. Rehab staff are a joke and leave the patients to do their own therapy while they sat in the office and had groups of people sitting in wheelchairs and chairs. If you have a choice don’t let the looks fool you this place will absolutely not help you or your family member. I witnessed many things in there that would be elder abuse and neglect not only with my family member but with other patients. They also billed the insurance company for equipment they say they ordered but we DID NOT get. All they care about is collecting the money not about helping the patients get better
