My dad stayed here for 5 days while I had respite through hospice. He has alzheimers and was taken care of fairly well while here. I visited him everyday but one and would send him here again if I was able. I have been taking care of him for 5 years at his home and this was a good break for both of us. This place is clean, staff are friendly and approachable.

The staff here really care about their patients. Nursing and rehab are fantastic! The leadership is very involved with your care.
My mom has been in this facility for 3 years. She is very happy here and the staff truly loves her. They try their best and when we encounter an issue they take care of it. The staff always responds to emails and concerns we may have.
After reading the reviews I was very apprehensive about placing my dad here, but it was the only place that would take him the day he was released from the hospital. We even considered moving him, but I’m so glad we didn’t. It’s not the newest or the fanciest place. But the facility was clean and everyone was very considerate and caring for my dad, even when he wasn’t the most cooperative person. He was always clean and usually out of bed, he was in therapy or sitting in a chair. Thank you to the staff for being so kind and caring to my dad and to the rest of the family as well!
St. Augustine Health & Rehabilitation Center is a commendable facility. I stayed here following an accident this summer after surrounding facilities would not admit me. While no facility is perfect, I was very pleased with the care that I received here. From administration and admissions to skilled nursing (none of whom are agency) and therapy, the staff is consistently kind, caring, and attentive to resident needs as best as possible. Under Tom’s administration, I will recommend this facility to anyone.
