The quality of care at St Anthony Park Home has seriously diminished since it was sold to a multi-facility company. There are still some caring employees working there and doing their best to provide compassionate care but the overall quality of care has degraded to the point of neglect in some instances. If you have a relative in this facility, pay close attention to what is going on with them. This is no longer a facility you can trust in. Previous Review when privately owned; My mother in law has been living at St Anthony Park Home for about a year. Her health improved vastly after becoming a resident here. The staff is kind and attentive. We wish we were able to care for her in our home but are thankful to have found a nursing facility that we can trust. This is a small privately owned facility and the owner is on site and responsive.

Not clean at all. The staff is not friendly. I walked in and wanted to die. Everyone besides hospice nurses are unpleasant and untrained. This place is unacceptable. If you hate your loved one send them here if you really care for them please send them somewhere else. This place needs to be looked into.
My father was at SAPH for a month for rehabilitation after surgery. We loved this facility. Everything was spotlessly clean. My father was treated with kindness and dignity. The staff from the owner down to the floor staff were absolutely wonderful and took excellent care of my dad. They helped us through a difficult process of working with the Veterans Administration. Whatever we needed, they provided. I would not hesitate to recommend SAPH to anyone and if we need this type of service again, I would not hesitate to have my loved ones there.
My father was transferred to this facility for rehabilitation. I think that this place cannot possibly be 5 stars, if it is then the star system needs to be reevaluated. This place seems more appropriate for individuals recovering from a hip or knee surgery but not for individuals who cannot advocate for themselves. My fathers room is very plain, old outdated decor, and the beds have no bed rails. So for people who are fall risks, the beds are on the lowest setting and mats are aligned on the actual floor should they fall out of bed. This is unacceptable to me. Additionally, my fathers roommate was getting situated in bed, he expressed that he was uncomfortable and that whatever he had on was too tight, the nurse didn't correct this and the patient had to say you think it's alright but it isn't, I am the one feeling this, are you going to help me or not. The nurse said ok now don't call me and left the call button on the floor where the patient couldn't access it. My sister gave the patient their call button to help them but my dad is not able to advocate for himself. What if they did this to my dad when we weren't there? The nurse put my dad's call button on the side of his body that has paralysis. Also, my dad nodded to me that he needed to use the bathroom and the nurse questioned me saying well he already had a BM and I was like well people usually need to go to the bathroom more than once a day. Didn't sit well with me. Are they just going to let my father sit in his waste? Unacceptable. I felt bad leaving my dad there after visiting hours were over. I didn't feel like this place will give him the care he needs given he cannot advocate for himself. We are working to get him out of this place so I just wanted to say I don't recommend this place at all.
We are very disappointed with Saint Anthony park home. I gave it 2 stars because the OT received was wonderful and helpful. Everything else was less than satisfactory. Blood draws were done at the dining table while eating with others. At one point she was wheeled back to her room and left sitting in the middle of the room without her walker close by. There was not adequate communication with the staff, we were told that our friend was an independent decision maker and they didn’t need to communicate with anyone else. Social worker did not get her voicemails or respond. We continue to hear stories of mistreatment that are heartbreaking.
