Although it has been quite a while since my mother had to leave Springhouse Independent Living Community for more care, those 7 years were her best years. She thrived there, enjoyed her friends and activities, an elegant dining room, shows and activities, socialization. Although Independent living is not designed to provide nursing care, there were times when she needed to be looked in on. She had to leave for medical issues. So now, if I want to remember the good times, in my mind's eye, I see her at Springhouse all gussied up for dinner and chatting with friends.

My Mom has been with us for 23 years. Since her diagnosis of alzheimer's 8 years ago we have not left her. Springhouse was gracious to provide us with a 2 week respite stay. I was anxious trusting her care to someone else. I am so pleased to say that she truly enjoyed her time at Springhouse. The people there also seemed to enjoy her. My son checked in on her several times and always pleasantly found her doing very well. Thank you Springhouse for allowing my husband and I to travel and enjoy are 25th wedding anniversary with no worries. In addition, they provided her with a lovely room that was well kept and my son noted that the food at dinner looked delicious.
This place is absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. The staff is caring respectful and loving. Kathy Foley is an incredible Executive Director as well as mentor. I would recommend this to be a home for your parents..
A quick visit but everyone seems incredibly happy. All of the residents seemed to be active and well groomed. I really enjoyed seeing elderly people happy and in good company
