We just moved my dad into Spring Oak 2 weeks ago and he is doing so well. He loves the food and the staff have been truly wonderful. They plan regular activities and outings for the residents and I have also been so impressed with the communication. Francine the director, Maddie the manager and Kayla the health and wellness coordinator have all kept me updated on how he is doing through regular phone calls and text messages. They have also been very receptive and responsive to my Dad’s needs. This really means a lot! Everyone at Spring Oak provides compassionate care and I am just so grateful.

Words is alone cannot express the gratitude I have for Spring Oak at York. Not only did they jump in and help me get my father in last minute after another place fell through, But my dad is so extremely happy. The staff, and residents are so kind, so thoughtful, and put my heart to rest, as a daughter, knowing that her father is thriving in a new environment and down this new path. Today Spring Oaks took about 7 residents fishing, my dad being one of them. The pictures filled my heart, seeing my dad so happy. If you need to think of somewhere to go for assisted-living, think no further Spring Oak at York is exactly your place!!
Spring Oak has been the biggest blessing, especially through an urgent time of transition. I can see why this facility has residents just not local to York. The quality of care for both the residents and family members has been EXCEPTIONAL from 1st moment of contact!
I really am impressed with the facilities and staff at Spring Oak Senior Living in York. A sudden and unfortunate incident required me to hastily relocate my father from FL to SC. After a few weeks it became apparent that I needed to find a facility that would be better suited to house my father. (My home has stairs that he had fallen down as well a shower/tub unit that he didn't feel comfortable getting in and out of.) I reached out to SOSL and I was able to get a same day on site tour. We got everything in order and moved my father in. Due to my father's cognitive issues, it hasn't been the smoothest transition for me, however, the staff has been super patient and supportive and put my mind at rest that his transition isn't out of the ordinary and that he would settle in nicely into the facility. He has! He is adjusting well and he's putting on weight thanks to SOSL staff knocking on his door for each and every meal. I also love the fact that SOSL works with a care provider who goes to the facility to see my father for his check-ups. They also provide cleaning to each residents apartment, and will even wash their laundry. The apartments are decently sized and offer plenty of space. The kitchen has enough counter space for preparing snacks or meals. The refrigerator is full sized. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and handle bars. Overall, it's has been a fantastic facility to work with and the staff are super responsive to offer recommendations and assistance when asked. It has been a little over 3 months since I moved my dad in and I am grateful that we have Spring Oak in our community to turn to for these unexpected and unplanned moment in our lives!
My grandmother has been at Spring Oak York for over a year, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The staff treats her with such kindness and care, always making her feel at home. She’s made great friends, stays active with the activities they offer, and is happier and healthier than ever. Every visit reassures me that she’s in good hands. I highly recommend Spring Oak of York to anyone looking for a caring place for their loved ones.
