Recently, my family and I had to make the difficult decision that my father, who has dementia, needed to be in an assisted living facility. While we knew this time would come, we weren’t prepared for all of the processes and emotions that would come along with it. From the moment that we stepped in the doors of Spring Hills, we were greeted with friendly smiles and positivity, and each and every person who works there is dedicated to making the experiences of not only the residents, but their families, the best that they can be. Erio, the Executive Director, is hands on and puts a personal touch on everything that he does. He was there for us from the start to give us a tour, talk us through the transition, give us suggestions, and even helped to set up my Dad’s TV when it arrived. Lisa, who handles Sales and Marketing, has been a blessing, and she was our first point of contact. She is responsive, helpful, incredibly thoughtful, and is always checking with us and my Dad to make sure everything is going smoothly. Everyone feels like family. The facility is beyond clean, the activities are wonderful, and the food is delicious. While my Dad is still acclimating, we know that we made the best decision having him live at Spring Hills. We thank every single person who is a part of the community from the directors to the chef Jonathan to the nurses and caregivers, for everything that they’ve done and continue to do to make sure that he feels at home and has the best care possible. My mom was a resident in the memory care unit for a little over 2 years before she passed. I give the highest praises to the nurses and aides that do this work. Mom was always well taken care of and clean. Even though she rarely spoke they did try to get her to engage. Agnes, the nurse, was the epitome of caring and compassion.
My uncle has been there for about 18 months. Staff is very responsive especially the director Erio Rosario. He is visibly present in the community and has helped me personally every single time I have reached out to him!
Food is good and staff is very accommodating if you want something else. Lots to do. Aides are helpful. Director is the best. Goes above and beyond
Although we are still in the decision-making process, I was very impressed with this facility on a recent tour. The staff are genuine, warm, and kind. I can see that relationship with residents is a priority. I sincerely believe that the loved ones residing here are well looked after.
