Spring Creek is a wonderful place to live. I've been a resident for 8 months and love it here. The staff are loving and caring and the residents are awesome. I highly recommend this as your next home.

My grandpa has been living here for about 5 months now and nothing but good to say about spring creek. Staff is always super friendly, especially Taffy up front!
My mother is here and the staff is very nice & many people are wonderful. Everything is pretty good if you are independent, but if you need assisted care or greater, the service is unreliable. There is no accountability or initiative taken without me stepping in and the process is such that if someone had serious medication requirements the medication could be completely lost or forgotten or not adjusted if needed. In only one month of going to assisted care I have experienced multiple situations which I have reported. I have hired additional outside person to make sure my mother is properly cared for. Luckily mom doesn't take anything that is a dangerous medication so my primary concern is to not move her because that is the most difficult thing for an alzheimer person. When she reaches the point of more care, I will move her to a new facility. Now 6 months after my last complaint, I have had another issue with ethical processes of distributing medications. It is the second time I am filing a claim with the health department. This facility is fine if one is in independent care, but you cannot trust that what is said is what is happening. If you have a parent with memory issues in assisted living, you cannot be sure adequate care is happening. They are understaffed and the process allows meds to fall between the cracks and not be given and go unnoticed. A definite lack of process and accountability is occurring. I am glad I am local and have hired outside help to assist, yet still things are happening that should not. It is my understanding that the memory care is good and has had original staff for some time, while assisted care and the company are undergoing some big changes because of complaints like mine. The main benefit of this facility is the large apartment like rooms, the close bus location, and walking distance to a variety of stores and a restaurant. If these are a priority then the facility will suit you. This is now October of 2024 and once again I have had issues with mom receiving her medication and not getting any communication or awareness around her health issues. Adding into the issue is the fact that I have hired an outside caregiver to make sure mom is properly taken care of and they resist her support even though I have signed and communicated to everyone that she can stand in for me at any time. I am grateful she is not on any heavy medication. The only reason I continue to have mom here is when one has Alzheimer's, moving them is devastating. They appear to be making efforts to improve things, I believe some are sincerely trying, but the results are not there to be seen. How long does it take to fix this problem. I make 8 calls to make sure something is happening that I should not have to do, and it still doesn't happen. The issue of distributing medication is important and basic care. If I didn't have an outside care giver nothing would be communicated and there would be no follow through. This will be my third time filing with the health department.
This is a wonderful place. Taffy, Lo and all !the staff were kind and wonderful.I highly recommend this facility.
Our grandmother has been there at all levels of care including memory, for the most part the staff is friendly and they are responsive to concerns. However, there has been some staff that is concerning one in particular is Yvette the RN in memory care, she is so rude an incompassionate towards family it’s quite concerning how she must treat the residents. They have been neglectful in cleaning and doing things they insist on “being payed for” like cleaning dentures properly and even when you up your care plan they still don’t do these things. The current unit director McKenzey is very sweet and caring so I hope she stays on board. All in all it’s a decent place but they should monitor the staff and their jobs better.
