PLEASE READ!!!! The public needs to be made aware of the awful conditions that this facility has been allowed to get away with, for years, from the state and county agencies that are "suppose" to protect the senior population, MANY complaints have been filed against Spring Arbor Kinston! The facility is "masterful" in subverting or feeding misinformation and disinformation to the agencies "created to protect this demographic" and so this neglectful facility continues to take $ from private pay and government aid and allows residents to deteriorate under their care. Do NOT take a LOVED ONE to Kinston Spring Arbor this facility has horrendous management(regional mgr was the head of maintenance prior to his promotion) and staff that is there because they are simply in need of a "paycheck" Staff has no compassion for the residents they are hired to take care of but instead LIE to family members by telling them "we will take care of your loved one, don't worry". Kinston is full of "ex employees of Spring Arbor that will confirm the truth in this post. I only wish that I would have read an HONEST review prior to selecting this facility for my loved one. This facility left my loved one in deplorable conditions within "days" of being taken there that resulted in death. Social Services was called in by the hospital because of the conditions they witnessed upon arrival to the local hospital.

Spring Arbor of Kinston was so helpful in the process of working with my dad. They were patient and friendly during his stay. I would recommend them for assisted living.
This is an exceptional assisted living community with a memory care option. They are well trained and truly care about the residents living there! The building is beautiful, friendly staff, and they always go above and beyond for their residents and staff! They are a great community partner! Highly recommended!
They have had a lot of change over, but the consistent staff is very friendly and accommodating and the facility is maintained. I think that piece could be better but I don’t think they are adequately staffed. Wish they had cameras in public areas.
