If a retirement home has to take over the care of a relative, then only choose one like the Spittel! My 96-year-old father has been there for a month and feels perfectly fine. In addition to good care, there are also other activities on offer: gymnastics, singing, board games and so on. Can only warmly recommend it.

My 90-year-old father was in short-term care in the municipal retirement and nursing home Spittel. He was transferred from a clinic in Rottweil to Schramberg and was in a pitiful, neglected condition at the time. Only in the hospital was he given human attention and care again. Even the very loving recording is a statement. What the nurses do here is admirable. People like my father are treated with real dignity at Spittel. The nursing and medical team also accompanied the dying process in an extremely appealing and respectful manner. I and my family can only recommend this facility.
The staff treats the residents very lovingly. There is always something entertaining on offer, such as: B. a barbecue with musical accompaniment.
I think my aunt is staying there. Her name is Hatice NEFF, I hope she is okay. I will come to visit you soon.
Overall it's ok. Looks clean. Everything is nicely decorated in the hallway, but unfortunately it's just there. Everything in the room looks rather cold, like in a large hospital where the patients are just numbers. Staff is different. There are nice ones who also bring the food to the room, and there are rude ones who have little regard for age. In the hallway you can sometimes hear the seniors being yelled at when they are upset. Eating seems to be fine for most. Unfortunately, not everyone likes it. But you also make sure that you are consuming enough calories, e.g. B. with a shake. TVs are also installed in rooms. On the whole, they try to make everyday life easier for seniors.
