Thank you so much Southport Health and Rehab center. They took great care of my mom while she was in her closing days. The staff is extremely friendly, shows pride, professionalism and the utmost caring in their job each and every day. Special heart felt thanks to Jay, who went above and beyond many times to help me with my mom. We couldn't have taken my mom to a better place while spending her last days here. If you have a loved one and you're looking at a home for them to spend their upper stage of life, I very much highly recommend Southport Health and Rehab. They do excellent work and an outstanding job.

They took good care of my grandma while she was recovering from a stroke. Her room was always clean and tidy. The nursing staff always made sure to open and close her curtain/ blinds at sunrise and sunset , which was important to my grams. The staff was always very welcoming when we visited often.
an absolute wonderful rehab was here 3 weeks after knee replacement and was thoroughly pleased with this place. had excellent care and help with my knee replacement. my doctor said I was well advanced when I left. got wonderful food. the food was excellent. the best food I've ever had in a hospital environment. it was A1 food. very good. the food was not bland. it was season good. it was very good food, good portions and very good. enjoyed every minute of my stay and all the food that I was served and snacks. nothing was bad. I always enjoyed my food. everything I got from breakfast to dinner the help was wonderful. the people were wonderful. it was a family oriented place and it was like being at home with family inside and with the food I ate loved being there hated to leave. was sad to have to go but was glad to get to go home and having a second knee replacement in a few months and we'll go back there again without any hesitation. I suggest anybody who has to have rehab goes to Southport rehab in Southport because the food the people the care you get is amazing and you will not regret one minute of being there. My Mom is content here and for the most part the Staff does a great job! They provide a lot of activities for the residents and try to help them feel included. She has been to other newer facilities and not received the same level of care.
The nurses and aides here are very caring and they work very hard. They are always pleasant and friendly, no matter how difficult the task. My husband has gotten excellent care from all of the therapists.
