Southland rehab is very nice the atmosphere of this place is incredible the clientele or the staff I should say is very polite very friendly my husband was there for a few weeks I would definitely have any of my family members or friends have care there if they ever needed it the nurses are all very polite my husband was released from their recently and then came home a couple of days ago now back at Kaiser he was at another facility before he came home and that place was a crap hole I am so thankful that Southland was a better place for him my husband's name is Dan Krueger

I am impressed by Gabriela Rodriguez,CNA. Her quality of care, professionalism, and work ethic are outstanding. Gabby was my father’s CNA on his first day at the facility. She is attentive, compassionate, and caring. She genuinely cares about the well being of her patients. Her care helped my dad rest well and relax. Gabby’s support gave me peace of mind during this stressful situation.
Recently my siblings and I have had our mother In Southland rehab for a fractured hip this was her second time there and each time we've have had a great experience with the nurses, physical therapists and the aids My brother and we stayed with our mom night and day. She has altztimers dementia and would get very disoriented so we saw who was caring for her which made it easier to not have to be there at throughout the night. We got there for breakfast . Consider this a shot across your bow. I'm a retired Marine and will not put up with you mistreating my mother, who was placed in your care last night (April 10) to rehab after spine surgery. My sister reported that her treatment last night was horrible. A CNA yelled at my mother and left her for hours in her own urine. She is supposed to be given powerful pain medication every 4 hours and she only received Tylenol 6 hours later, and only after my sister complained. When the nurse is confronted she passes the buck to another, who quickly throws it back. If you are the owner of this establishment, please have a talk with your staff. I've read several negative reviews in which treatment ended badly. I'm trying to get ahead of this. If you change course I will too. This negative review will be removed and replaced with whatever degree of service you provide. I am also preparing to lodge a complaint with the district office in Norwalk of the California Department of Public Health and anywhere else I can. Let's have positive experience for all involved. When my wife got out of the hospital she went to Southland. Received excellent care. The Nurses are caring and take time to help each patient. Special kudos to nurse Bertha, and nurse Nadine and also to Occupational Therapist Jennifer for their extra attention and caring.
