I do not recommend. For an established business, they seem to bumble their way through without established care procedures. Staff negligence is glossed over and excuses/lies made for. They do not listen and meet residents personal medical and health requirements despite saying they can with a smile on their face. In particular the catering for individual medical dietary requirements when any deviation makes a resident ill. They cannot/will not cater for specific diets despite having an onsite chef. High staff turn over, no consistency to care. The longer your loved one is there, the worse the 'care' gets. Its very low effort minimalist care. Extremely poor infection control . They don't follow SA Health guidelines, even when pointed out to management. Covid will persist while clients and staff from the external attached Wellness gym are not required to be RAT tested and are allowed to freely enter the residential facility and mix with vulnerable residents in the Foyer/Hub area. There is an overall quality problem with the staff. Management points the finger at agency staff, of course. Inappropriate qualifications evident in recent incidences needed a police presence. Requests aren't met in your loved ones lead up to the final moment. After all the reviews by ACQSC, our loved ones seem to be the collateral damage. Some institutions consistently fly under the radar. Response: Thanks for the invite of a survey. But it will get unheard and excuses/lies made for.
This place is about taking money from the most vulnerable and doing the least amount of work possible. Chefs cooked meals is a joke, mostly curries, do not cater to medical diets. Not enough 'carers' using mostly agency people. Huge staff turn around and the residents suffer.
Staff carers and nurses have poor management especially, they are racist towards the agency staff and want to finish all carer's tasks in 2 hours 6 to 8 p.m., they are always in a rush to the resident care, they do take their breaks on time, don't ask to the agency for the break on time. Too much racism in the place. Reckless care of residents. I feel bad for the residents. The work environment is very bad.
Polite, helpful caring staff from my experience. Patient care seems to be very satisfactory and the rooms are clean, warm and nice
