Don’t take your family member here if you want proper care for them. The staff members here are very lazy and rude. My mom was left soiled for hours and they wouldn’t change her. I asked them several times and they told me it was not her time to be changed. The staff went on lunch and left my mom soiled even though I asked multiple times for her to be changed. I would leave my mom at night and come back the next day and she would still be in the same diaper. I know because I’ve been marking the diaper. The directors were not helpful in helping me resolve the problem. My mom died at the facility at night and they did not know she was dead because they were not checking on her. It was not until the next day when my sister visited and saw her dead. They are horrible. Don’t send your family.

Kind caring and supportive; it is not easy working in the field of help and service as one has to face layers of stress uncertainty patients and family members frustration’s disappointments and concerns around the situation they are in. I take my hat off to all healthcare professionals. You sign up for a position not clear of what you may experience daily it’s just not easy becoming many things to many people daily even though you signed up for it. I definitely have a new level of respect and appreciation and admiration for all ; patients and families alike . What would the world look like when we lay aside the weights and sins that ensnare us and entrap us; exhale , breathe, the air is free! So i am impressed good bad and indifferent . We all choose how we show up. I am coming to terms with the fact that someone in my family is truly is becoming difficult and is becoming difficult to deal with at times. Losing one’s mind and having some sense of knowing it ; is scary….. annnd still show up for them. Every Experience Is truly an Opportunity for Growth. Be the CHANGE that you want to see in the world! It ain’t easy being in this space. Nobody said that it was going to be easy! Thanks for reading n listening and I pray that you get something from this!

Today I found Mommy with a physical therapist, it is to make sure her muscles don’t atrophy from being bedridden. She was tired but was able to engage with Kieon. He worked those muscles and was okay with the annoying daughter being in the room.
