I looked at this home on the open day a while ago. I talked to employees and was able to take part in the tour of the inpatient area and get an insight into the assisted living and day care. I also had a very nice chat with the residents of the house. There are very attentive staff who take time for the residents, walks are offered, games are played, various craft afternoons/coffee chats are offered, gymnastics rounds to keep you moving. They treat the residents with respect and love. They laughed, sang, chatted and simply had a lovely afternoon at the open day with music. Everything is clean and well maintained. The tables are beautifully set. There were children in the house. You could see how much fun they all had. There was plenty of food and drink and at the end there was a great service with the accompaniment of brass music. All in one, a bright, friendly house where the residents feel comfortable.

My mother initially spent two and a half years in assisted living, a very nice apartment with care that truly deserves its name. She finally had to transfer to inpatient care. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the very loving and compassionate care provided by the staff. My special thanks go to the palliative care department. A model of how to deal with dying people. Hats off to them! Thank you so much.
My mother was in short-term care at the Sonnenresidence for 5 weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve. All the staff were very friendly and helpful to her. Despite staff shortages, she was well looked after both day and night. Thank you for that.
Hands off! Just disrespectful and condescending there. As an employee, I would not recommend this foundation.
