Month after month, the service and attention to detail continues to amaze me. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure my Oma (grandmother) and the other residents are safe, happy and cared for. My Oma is a tough cookie when it comes to being impressed, and every week, she shares wonderful feedback about the experiences and events that the staff facilitates. Her current favorite is the Happy Hour event where there is beer, wine, live music and dancing. I'm looking forward to attending the next Happy Hour! I personally experienced the staff exceeding all expectations when my family threw a surprise party for my Oma. They offered us to utilize a room that shared the beautiful outdoor patio. They allowed us to decorate and bring in catering. I was most amazed when Kyle Mitchell, their Senior Business Office Director, came and helped us decorate and setup. Please note that the surprise party was on a Friday night and he chose to spend his Friday night helping us make sure Oma had the best surprise party ever. Kyle even played with my young nephews to make sure they too were having a good time. Who would ever think that you can have a blast at a Senior Living Facility.
Solstice Independent Living is truly a gem in the heart of Palatine for Seniors looking for a vibrant place to call home. They provide a cozy, family atmosphere where residents can receive the support to age in place with care partners on site both medical and non-medical. The residents are treated by the amazing staff as if they are their own family members. I am blessed to be able to partner with such a wonderful community!

Tanya and Igael were very helpful and thorough in the process since I was unfamiliar with any of it. They showed care and compassion in the entire process.
