205 Emerald Pond Ln, Durham, NC 27705, United States
My mom absolutely loves this place. The staff is helpful and kind. The residents go above and beyond to be helpful and sociable. The food is good and there are options. It's newly renovated and very clean. Gr The move in process could use some work to give everyone all the information. I wish we could get rid of the shag carpet in the apartments, especially for folks with walkers and wheelchairs. But otherwise it's incredibly accessible. I just have to say again that the staff is so helpful and communicative, which as a concerned daughter makes me feel so much better.

Love love Emerald Pond and the staff. When we moved mom in Eric Robertson was there to greet us and to make her feel at home. When Eric became Executive Director we were thrilled. He treats everyone there as if they were his family. We would still be there if mom hadn’t need more memory care. Hated to leave. Also, thanks to Robin for being attentive to mom. Thank you all for the care and compassion that mom received.
On Feb 10th this year I received a call from a resident at Holiday Emerald Pond stating that they had missed their bed and landed on the floor. No one was answering at the front desk, this was at 8:41 pm. I live in NJ. I could not find a telephone number that had an actual person, only an answer machine to leave a message on. My friend in room 238 had to call her daughter and son-in-law for help. They live in Durham. My friend is 84. It is not a facility that I would put my mother in😒
Had an incredible time moving a sweet lady in! With the help, kindness and generosity of Jason, i couldn’t be happier for her to live there. Jason was helpful and treated everyone equally and with care. He radiates positivity, that spreads across the building and puts smiles on everyone’s faces around him. We couldn’t thank him enough. She’s in great hands.
I have been the court appointed Guardian of a U.S. Army veteran for thirty four years. When I accompanied him to move in to Emerald Pond, we were welcomed with open arms. Chad made the on line enrollment easy. Lisa offered donated furniture and other items for my ward. She rolled a recliner on a dolly to the apartment. The entire staff has been compassionate. Isaiah brought a kitchen table and chairs to the apartment. It is the perfect apartment for a 71 year old gentleman.
