This is a great nursing home. My mother has been here for a couple of years. They follow all the covid protocols to the letter. They have some staffing issues but everyone works very hard and manage things very well. Some of the most caring people you will every come across. This place is very clean. Great job Garfield!
I had the displeasure of staying there for three weeks in late September to early October 2022. The facility looks like a palace. The staff treats everyone like a dementia patient and were rude if I questioned something. The therapy gym is beautiful but they contract and they didn't know how to treat me. The food is horrendous. How can a place with that name make terrible pierogies? Look somewhere else!
This place I find has a very good if not excellent staff to its residents and family members. I say this with the earnest of seeing some quality customer service and how they treat their patients!
The staff are kind, caring and do a wonderful job taking care of the residents. They were great with my mom...very patient. I would heartily recommend the Slovene Home for anyone looking for long term placement for their loved one.
