We’ve placed my grandfather here for rehabilitation following a severe drop in his health due to Parkinson’s. Everyone from the doctors, nurses, CNAs, physical, occupational and speech therapist, as well as the care coordination staff have been absolutely wonderful! The facility is always very clean and well maintained with a home like feel. We couldn’t be happier with his care and the improvement he’s made in this facility!

My grandmother had to stay there after being intubated. we were told good things about it but we're severely disappointed they won't check on patients for 5-6 hours they told us they had a c pap for her when they didn't so she had to go without it until the next day most of the nurses were inconsiderate, though there were a few good ones especially Jamal. the head nurse ordered the nurses not to check her blood sugar more than 2 times a day when she has type 2 diabetes and her sugar drops overnight.
My dad received great care delivered with genuine compassion and kindness. All members of the staff from nursing, therapy, housekeeping, dietary, finance, activities to maintenance were kind, attentive and very supportive during his 7 month stay.
My wife was at Skyland for 13 days after her knee replacement surgery. This rating is based on her impression of the cleanliness, personal service, healthy food options, knowledgable nurses, and prompt responses to her questions. We would recommend this facility to friends and relatives based on her experience.
Never been excited about the place, my mom's been there since late last wensday and only received physical therapy twice for her legs. I've talked to her doctors and I know what she is supposed to be recieving. Calling her insurance tomorrow to find out if they are billing her daily for the physical therapy.
