My mother has been a resident at shell harbor for almost 3 years. She has been very happy in her new home. She has made many new friends and loves the ambiance of shell harbor as well as the staff. The entire staff is very accomadating to the residence needs and always with a smile on their face. They always do their best to fulfill all special requests. When I moved my mom to Florida, I took her to 10 independent living facilities, and shell harbor was the last one she looked at. As soon as she walked in and walked around, she told me this is it. The interior is very inviting and the concierge and activities director decorate to the nines for all holidays and special events. I can mention so many staff by name for their helpfulness and kindness, but I will only name one at this time. Mary the activity director is a go getter. She is always busy , organizing games or classes, driving the bus to lunch/dinner/theater/concert outings, running happy hour, setting up for special event dinners and booking acts or speakers to entertain the residence. She is an asset to the RLC communities and especially shell harbor. I visit mom 3-4 times a week and participate in many of shell harbor events. I have been asked many times if I am a resident. 😂. Nobody knows what the future holds, so I tell them, maybe someday. Richard

I moved my mother here from another state last year. I went to every single retirement community in Brevard County and Shell Harbor is the best one overall. The apartments are spacious, the facilities are very good. The restaurant provides excellent meals. They have a movie theater, gym, hair salon, and much more. There is always someone at the front desk 24-7. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the residents. They also provide transportation for residents for shopping and appointments. Family members are welcome to dine with their residents for a small fee. My mother loves it and has made lots of friends and it keeps her moving every single day. And by the way they have great ice cream.
We moved in Shell Harbor when it first opened in 2021 and we have never regretted doing so. The facility is beautiful. We have a nice apartment. We feel very safe here. We love the people. Everyone is so friendly; we have met many new friends. The food is good. There are lots of activities, a movie theatre, a pharmacy, fitness center, beauty parlor. We recommend this facility highly.
Arriving at Shell Harbor in April 2023, I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the building was. I felt I was in a five star hotel in NYC. As you enter the building you are greeted by the Concierge and will welcome you to Shell Harbor. The Concierge will be more than happy to direct you to the person that you have an appointment with. If you are there to meet with the Senior Living Consultant, you will be directed to his office and will answer any questions that you might have. The staff here at Shell Harbor is very professional and friendly to all of the residents and their visitors. I encourage anyone who is interested in finding a great retirement community to check out what Shell Harbor has to offer.
Shell harbor retirement community is a wonderful community. Shell harbor celebrates and decorates for every holiday. Easter was there when I visited and I can say whoever does the decorating does a wonderful job. Staff are very nice and need for filling. Very cleaned and neat community
