My mom enjoyed living there for awhile, and then everything changed! The food went downhill, and greed stepped in. They literally prices her out of living there. They are changing everything and focusing on making most of it assisted living. The front office is a joke. I have called several times and my call is never returned. Heaven help you if you need to get ahold of Peggy, she’s always ‘in a meeting’ and NEVER returns your call. The day my mom moved out, I went to the front desk to turn in her key, the director saw me, went to her office, knowing I was standing there, and proceeded to get on her computer. I waited, and literally just left the keys on the front desk. That pretty much sums up our experience there. Would NOT recommend.

Toured this facility and was very impressed with everything. It was clean, everyone was friendly. The activities offered are great and pricing is affordable. I will definitely recommend Shawnee Hills.
Can not say enough good things about Shawnee Hills senior living and it's staff. They have went out of there way to accommodate our loved one to there facility. Would highly recommend this senior living community.
I visited Shawnee Hills on a tour with my best friend & her mother. It was a Beautiful experience!! There is a true, genuine sense of Family, Care & LOVE at this community. The residents were all so very nice & stopped to talk with us & tell us she would love it there. Janet with the community gave us the tour & spent lots of time with us, but she was a God send & took her time & did above & BEYOND to accommodate us. Her genuine care & compassion for the community shows throughout the entire place! It was very obvious & apparent the residents LOVE her back! It was obvious with the other staff we came in contact with that they were happy & loved the residents. Beautiful grounds, beautiful interior. Lots of activities & KIND, happy residents. P.S. the food was AWESOME!!
The tenants are wonderful Betsy food is cold and awful and the administration is less than horrible. They care more about money then they care about their tenants. Myself as a visitor there was a horrendous experience looking at the cold food day after day there is so much turnover there it is hard to and impossible to get anything improved
