This place is for seinors who don't have the physical ability to carry their groceries or other things up to their apartment without a cart, but the staff removed all carts so no one can use them all because a few older, mostly women who didn't bring back the carts in a timely manner. so the staff removed them. That means even if others did, they are without the carts. Don't sound like a right move of the staff to include everyone. You can't punish those who were responsible but they are. Now they have taken away the area where some people did puzzles. Said it came from the home office. I'm glad my review was looked at an response came, but there is a couple of errors. Number 1 is that there was no multiple notices given to us about the carts. The only notice was they are of that day going to be remove the carts. This problem with carts was long before i moved here 7/12 years ago. Most of the people who didn't bring down the buggies was because of their age it was hard to bring them down after they put their groceries up. Most would leave it outside their door. I and others would go around and if there were any would bring them downstairs. It's never been a crisis that would prompt this kind of reaction. I helped a 92 year old woman get her monthly groceries in who almost fell trying to pick up some that fell off her walker. A few people who was unaware that there was no carts because the staff removed them all came home with groceries that then had to walk them to their apartment by hand. Out of about 100 apartments we had 6 or 8. That would present a problem by itself. The point is the staff did not send out multiple notices about the carts and wasn't intrested in letting the other residents to help like we have over the years. The other was we who did puzzles also did not have any notices concerning the table where we had the ones that were done and glued. We were under the assumption that we would have enough room for the ones that were done to let some residents would would buy to help the association with funds. We have a small space out of the activities room that has a large place for tables for cards, pool etc. we never was trying to make a mess, but we also never was communicated with the staff about the puzzles. The main problem is the staff doesn't communicate with us until they act on something like they have told us over and over again. People who use to say good things about this place are now are saying they wish the others who managed this place was back, mainly because of the attitude of the staff against us. There is more than just me, a lot of people here talk about their hateful attitude this staff has towards us. There is a lot of tension because of them. Every thing would be fine if we had a staff who understands the elderly. They treat us like we are all rebellious. After it turned cold they had a bunch of people told the staff the activities room was cold but after a long time I took a picture of two of the thermostats and sent them to Drew. The next day they turned the heat on. The TV had a cable box hooked to it but the wifi was the only way we could watch, but the staff seemed unwilling to activate the box. No one knew how to use the wifi, but finally after many complaints they got the box on. This is a problem why people were not coming down. It was way too cold and no TV. The staff doesn't seam to understand what seinors need. This the last move for most us will make. I've been here 7/12 years and over 20 have either died here or went to the hospital and died. Some went to a nursing home. All these people have lived their lives, all the trauma, drama etc are not needing a staff who according to most that treat us like we need a warden over us. There is no compassion from these staffers. We are just older people who are looking to live their lives in comfort without pressure from hateful staff. The lease violation i got after I spoke to the owner on September 6 was given to me in retaliation. They are vindictive to those who would speak up about them. It was not investigated just accepted

If I can’t move things out, how can I move these things back. This is unacceptable. Of course there is no one here to explain this to.
I recently moved my mother-in-law from another senior apartment and the difference is night and day. Seton Haven has been recently remodeled and the entire facility is clean and professional in appearance. The staff is friendly and quickly responsive to any issues. We are so glad we found this facility!
My sister has lived here for 6 months. The units are a good size for single seniors. Simple floor plan. Interior access to units, new floors and paint. Handrails in the halls and laundry on each floor. My sister loves it and I know she is safe. Great place!
It seems to be an ok place to live. I visited two of the apartments. Both appear spacious. The dining hall looks to be on the drab side. Could use a face-lift They have some sort of activities planned throughout the month for residents..
