If I Could Give This Place Zero Stars I Would First Off They VERY UNORGANIZED They Don't Drug Test So Basically They Would Let Anybody Work Here Doing Drugs Because They Don’t Drug Test !! & Your Working Around People Loved Ones . Then They Dont Have No Good Communication I Post To Train My Second Night When I Got There The Girl Didn’t Even No She Was Post To Train Me Because Supervisor Didn’t Do Her Job By Communicating So Later On That Night The Girl Was Showing Me How They Take Care Of The Resident And She Was Changing Them Was NOT USING NO WIPES AT ALL !!!! JUST PUTING ON FRESH BREIFS Being Very Rough Talking To The Residents Crazy She Not The Only One That Was Talking To Them Crazy It Was Another Person Too Then Once We Did Our Rounds She Went Into A Empty Resident Room And Went To Sleep For Almost 5hrs When We Post To Do Rounds Every 2hrs So I Had To Go Find Her Which IS HORRIBLE This Place Need Better Workers That Actually Care And Not Just There For A Check & A Better Supervisor That No How To Communicate I Would NOT PUT MY LOVE ONE IN THIS FACILITY I Could Keep Going But I’m Stop Here SERENE SUITES PLEASE DO BETTER 👎🏾
Terrible facility. My Mom was was there from end of Jan. to April 4th. She was falling constantly. One fall was so bad that she was taken to Bethesda North for stitches. Here is the best part, since she was only there for 4 days in April, I was told they will not be refunding any money. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
Serene Suites is an excellent establishment. My Dad has been there for a few months now and everything has been immaculate, it is his new home and feels like my second home, everyone there is like family. I am so grateful for all the staff members there that provide the care and support the residents need each day, and the skills they have are both so impressive and underrated. When I take my Dad out to walk at the park or get lunch, he is always happy to return as he feels it is his home where he is safe. And in my opinion the most important and best feeling when taking care of a loved one is knowing that they feel content, calm, and safe. Serene does a great job of engaging with residents as well by doing actives, listening to live music, and watching movies with them. They also have great chefs and all the residents receive a healthy variety of foods each meal. I can’t imagine my Dad anywhere else and I would definitely recommend Serene Suites to anyone looking into facilities for their loved one. Easily a 5 out of 5 stars.
I cared for my husband at home for as long as I could. I am so grateful when the time came that he needed 24/7 care he could move into Serene Suites. The cleaning staff does an amazing job of keeping the rooms, gathering areas, and hallways very clean. The caregivers are kind and patient and ready to step in for any need my husband has. The musical programs are enjoyable for the residents and the loved ones. Activities are planned for special days. Seeing my husband get so much enjoyment out of the delicious meals warms my heart. I didn’t know what to expect when the care for my husband was handed over to Serene Suites, but it was the right decision. No regrets!
