After my dad died last year, we moved my mom to a senior independent living facility. She struggled to adjust to her new surroundings until I reached out to Ben Chernow at SHS who matched her with a patient, intelligent, caring companion. My mom very much looks forward to her Wednesdays with Silvana. She enjoys their conversations, and especially appreciates that Silvana is a good listener. Ben has been easy to reach and very responsive. He runs a terrific, professional agency that I would highly recommend.
We have been using SHS for the past 4 months to assist with my mother who has dementia. The staff is so kind, helpful, reliable and informative. Their communication skills and manner of delivery are exceptional. I would highly recommend them.
We are having a great experience with Senior Helping Seniors for my father. We have had four "helpers" over the past 6 months, and everyone has been great to deal with and has made my father's days better. I have peace of mind knowing that someone will keep an eye on my father and keep him social in his golden years. My father cannot drive, doesn't use a mobile phone and will not cook for himself (except for cereal in the morning). Seniors Helping Seniors ensures that my father gets one good meal a day, and he looks forward to having the company!
On short notice, Ben provided exceptional service for my husband. He chose a senior helper who was intelligent and kind. My husband enjoyed talking with him and they found much in common. Of course, he was always punctual and helpful as promised. During the time that SHS was here, my husband also had the services of a very competent and friendly nurse. An enjoyable experience and we will use SHS' services again and recommend them as well.
