Chic
When I lived there before the coronavirus pandemic, it was quite nice. But since the coronavirus pandemic, I think it's unfortunately changed for the worse. There are often many temporary workers who have no idea about the patients. Staff don't know how to accompany/assist physically disabled people using a bedpan while using the toilet. Staff treat a physically disabled person as if they were mentally disabled. On the positive side, the food is good, and the care options before the coronavirus pandemic were also good. Very friendly caregivers, including an in-house occupational therapist. The permanent staff puts in a lot of effort in providing care, but they are often under time pressure, which is probably the case in most facilities.
My mother has been going to day care in a retirement home for 1 1/2 years now, and I can only report good things. The employees are always available to provide advice and support, give tips on how to deal with seniors and respond to the needs of each individual. My mother loves going there because she is always entertained and well looked after. Once again a big thank you to all the day care staff!!!
Our 96-year-old relative came to the Rosenheim senior center for short-term care after a lengthy hospital stay. He was welcomed there in a very nice and friendly manner and, after just a short time, felt very comfortable in the facility, so that after four weeks he decided to stay in the facility and switch to full-time care. He feels very comfortable there too. All the staff are always friendly and helpful to him and our relatives. The room is very nice and always clean. We have only had positive experiences with the facility.
My mother-in-law came home in a desolate condition after 3 weeks of short-term care. She could no longer stand and weighed 5 kg. removed, laundry was swapped. Never again!!!
