Located in a park with adjacent forest. Nice grounds, a beautiful, well-maintained house, kept as comfortable as possible with the necessary facilities for care. The staff are very friendly, considerate of each individual, their personality and their own life path, and are there to help in a loving and competent way. There are also additional activities – singing, worship, various games, crafts, and much more – we are truly thrilled!
Below, we provide an objective assessment. This should give you guidance as to whether you would like to place a person in need of care in this care facility. Care and Residential Care + Nursing staff: friendly and courteous, professionally competent in emergency situations + The residential care facility always kept relatives well informed about the status of the resident they were caring for. - The professional nursing staff were clearly unable to handle the typical reactions of people in need of care upon admission to a care facility. - After a four-month stay, our relative developed a massive decubitus ulcer (pressure sore) that could only have been treated surgically. However, this was not possible due to her health condition. External specialists working at the hospital undoubtedly blamed this on deficiencies in care. - We had to point out several times that we did not accept that our relative was put to bed for the night without any hygiene measures. - The fact that our relative repeatedly moved around the public area with a heavily filled diaper that was almost touching the floor is probably not based on the director's self-assessment that the nursing staff cared for our relative professionally and with great empathy until her final days. - Dirty laundry belonging to our roommate, marked with her name, was constantly found in our relative's laundry. - Other residents who were unable to eat independently were often given food in a disgraceful manner "as they passed by." - The nursing facility had our severely dementia-suffering relative sign an application for an increase in her care level, even though she was known to be under care. The nursing staff learned of the signature through the nursing insurance fund. Meals The quality cannot be assessed throughout the day, but dinner was mostly monotonous. - Vegetables were rarely served. - The soups differed only in color. Administration + The receptionist, especially Ms. Koch, was always friendly and solution-oriented. - Mail from other residents was sent to our relatives' caregivers on several occasions. Accounting / Billing - After the self-proclaimed final bill, further invoices were sent. There were no comprehensible reasons for this, either in terms of timing or content. To this day, relatives are being harassed with unjustified, downright low-brow demands. - Despite the revocation of the direct debit mandate, amounts are still being debited from their accounts. Death + The information regarding the resident's condition was satisfactory, but given the circumstances and the distance, we arrived too late. - Before we wanted to say goodbye to the relative, we asked the staff about her current status. It turned out that she had died in her room next to her roommate. - Due to our irritated expressions, a nurse hastily set up a few partitions to ensure a minimum of respect. - This conclusion is inappropriate and undignified. Transporting the deceased to a dignified room appropriate for a farewell would probably be the minimum expectation. - The deceased relative lay next to her roommate for eight hours until the funeral home picked her up at approximately 10 p.m. Conclusion The facts and observations described here are based on the findings of several people, including medical professionals, and are not subject to the subjective perception of any individual. I can only strongly advise everyone against this retirement home because my grandparents were not well looked after. During every visit (no matter what day) the two were parked in a dark corner and no one was interested in them. Organizationally, it was a complete disaster because we were informed about the news far too late. For example, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital without any luggage. We have never had contact with the doctor to consult and find out what the current status is. When my grandmother was moved to another nursing home, we were shocked to learn that she was severely underweight. After a short time in the new home, we noticed significant physical and cognitive progress in my grandmother. From a data protection perspective, I also question the Heideresidenz's answers very much, as my father's review clearly mentioned his mother-in-law's alleged problem. The 1 star is only for the really nice nurses, who were unfortunately totally understaffed. The property is very nice, but that doesn't really help if the relatives are just parked in the hallway or room. For my grandparents, who always worked a lot and did everything for their grandchildren in every way, I would have really wished for happier days in their final years.
Great house with great outdoor space. Nice staff meets caring care and a top-notch range of care options. I can even take part in this as a relative and the selection is great. Small note: transport for wheelchair users would be another consideration. As the cherry on top of the cake! Clearly 5 out of 5 from me 👍🏼
