The Gartenstadt team does an outstanding job every day. Is every day the same? No! Will mistakes happen? We're all human beings and we work for and with people. What I can say is that we are a team, a family at heart. I'm grateful to be a big part of it, through good times and bad.
My brother-in-law lives in your facility and we are very satisfied with the friendly staff, the homely furnishings in the house with plenty of seating for the residents. The range of activities on offer is also varied. Residents should certainly be persuaded to take part, especially if they are unable to assess what is on offer due to their many illnesses, as is the case with my brother-in-law. Nevertheless, a thank you to your facility and employees.
My brother has been in care at the senior home for almost 2 months.... All I can say is that he received every kind of attention and care from the very first hour. Be it from the administration or the station...!!! So far he has only received loving care, always understanding and an open ear...!! As a family member, I can only say thank you very much..!! It's a good feeling to know that he's kept there or taken care of...!! Thank you dear seniors' house team..!!!
This home is the very last one. Optimized for profit, inhumane care. Far too few carers per person. If you ring the bell because you want to go to the toilet, no one comes for half an hour. No attention is paid to whether medication is taken, the bedridden patients are not moved regularly, physiotherapy appointments are not kept despite repeated requests, the food is of extremely poor quality, the staff has no time for proper care, etc, etc. The list can go on and on. My father-in-law is now in the Mallinckrodt pen and the difference is like night and day.
