My brother has spent the last 1.5 years at Bethanien. No matter when we visited him, he was always well cared for. The facility is very clean and bright. The nurses were always friendly, even though they changed frequently. We never encountered any unfriendly staff. Everyone worked hard and supported us. The ward manager is very competent and personable. The in-house café is also a bonus. I have visited many nursing facilities. I always liked Bethanien the best, especially the cleanliness and serenity. Thank you for the loving treatment of my brother.

My mother was in short-term care there. You wouldn't wish that on anyone. Important medications weren't administered, prescribed physical therapy wasn't provided, relatives weren't informed or were incorrectly informed, and despite repeated requests, she never saw a doctor. The main thing was that my mother's health insurance card was sent to him quickly so he could bill her. I just didn't complain directly to management so my mother wouldn't be disadvantaged. I will do that soon.
My mother died in August in Bethany. I had the feeling that she wasn't in good hands there, the staff were often unfriendly and didn't respond to requests, unclean rooms, which I found really bad. And things often disappeared from my mother's room, sorry not recommended.
Only an occupied room is a good room! Here, too, it's all about business and unfortunately, grievances can also be observed in this home. The fact that the boss personally rates his store with five stars is of course not surprising, but legitimate. However, my observations only allow one!
It always depends on which sister or care you are currently meeting. Unfortunately, very few are friendly. Often when you "ask for something" you are quickly dismissed with a "yes, let's do it" or "let's pay attention to it in the future" so that the staff has peace of mind from relatives, only to find out later that nothing has happened at all. Guys, you make your money from the residents in need. Don't always forget that!
