My parents are entering their second month in independent living at Wexford, and I couldn't think of a better place for them. From the first visit, I was impressed by how calm and happy everyone in the place is--staff and residents alike. Every time I visit, the place is spotless. Whoever is in charge of programming the activities does an amazing job. I appreciate access to the Sagely app for an extra layer of comfort. The folks at Wexford go above and beyond for the residents.

When something impresses me I just have to share it. I have visited the Memory Care Unit multiple times now and every time I visit it is clean and does not have any unpleasant odors. I am so impressed considering I visit facilities throughout the Greater Metro on a regular and I almost always leave them in dismay and unbelief. If I had a love one that needed memory care this is a place I would choose. Great Job!! Keep it up!!
I have been here for almost three years now and this is family right here! The culture here at Wexford Place is incomparable to any other place. The diversity of staff, residents, and families makes this place great. Everybody is always looking out for each other and doing it with love and compassion. There is a reason why this place has been one of the top places to work in Kansas City and listed as the number one assisted living! It is really more than a job!
We are still in the beginning stages of managing my sister's care long distance at Wexford. I am very impressed with the staff whom I did meet when I was there for several weeks as my sister was adjusting. I'm afraid if I start naming names , I may overlook someone. The comprehensive services of Interim in house home care makes a big difference for our family to know that our relative is checked on regularly. I am glad that we decided to sign up for the maximum per month services before I had to return to our home in Colorado. It is a big comfort to know that the staff are friendly and open to discussing her needs with the several close local friends who are able to check in with my sister regularly. They, too, are learning how best to navigate the available resources at Wexford on my sister's behalf in ways that work for the staff as well as for my sister. I am impressed with the patience and kindness with which our family and friends have been met as we make this huge adjustment. A number of staff members demonstrate exceptional skill in dealing with severely memory impaired persons with humor as well as coming up with practical solutions.
I can’t speak on the facility, but if Nicole is any indicator of the quality of service here, I’d think it’s great. I called for information regarding placement for my Dad. His needs are beyond the scope of their program. But Nicole talked to me anyway and shared tremendous information about area residential care places. This process is grueling on all levels!! Nicole truly was a Godsend!! Can’t express my appreciation enough!
