From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff made us feel welcome and supported. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly compassionate, helping to calm my mom’s nerves and making her transition as smooth as possible. One of the highlights for my mom was the vibrant social environment. She truly enjoyed the wide variety of activities offered and quickly connected with both staff and other residents. It was wonderful to see her so engaged and happy. Senior Star gave our family true peace of mind, knowing that Mom was in a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment. We are so thankful for the exceptional care and would highly recommend Senior Star to anyone looking for a loving community for their loved one.

Senior Star excels at Memory Care Programming and engagement for their residents. As a whole, the company is commuted to supporting charities such as the Alzheimer's Association and gets their staff involved in volunteering. The staff at Elmore Place are dedicated to the residents and their needs. As an added bonus, they have an adorable pup that lives at the Memory Care building that brings joy to the residents.
Great place to live..the team cares about the residents and it is very apparent just by walking in the doors!
I moved my husband there to a studio apartment in November. I moved him out yesterday. there are too many residents in assisted living compared to the number of staff. communication is horrible, starting from the top down. complaints are not followed up on, nor taken seriously. there are many well intentioned nurses and caring partners, who do their best but as one partner said, "she was running around like a headless chicken". only one positive note; the wait staff in the dining room is exceptional; however, I don't like the idea of residents having to wait for in-room meals until the dining room is cleared. we enjoyed meeting some of the residents, and will miss seeing them, but I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
Senior Star is unlike any other senior living facility in the QC area. When we found out that it was time to place my grandparents into a facility other than their own home we were so nervous. After working with and touring many homes in the area we were unexpectedly amazed when we stepped foot into Senior Star. The assisted living facility is gorgeous and set up in a safe, friendly environment. Most importantly I know my grandparents are safe, well cared for and loved at Senior Star. We are grateful for your services and everything you do for the seniors and families in the QC area!
