Becky was my case manager. She was extremely helpful as we worked through the Medicaid application process. Becky promptly answered any questions I had, and clarified how the process would work. I especially appreciate that Becky would proactively contact me about any decisions to be made, for example before she contacted the bank to request documents. She recognized this would incur a cost, so she would contact me first to ask if I preferred to obtain the documents to avoid any costs. My only constructive feedback is that there was some confusion between Becky and I just prior to submission of the application, so the application was submitted later than I thought, so I was required to personally pay my mom’s residency at her assisted living facility for 1 month. Other than that issue, I enjoyed working with Becky and I am grateful for her assistance. SPS was a great partner to assist with the Medicaid application process.
Thanks to Senior Planning and the Staff our Medicaid approval came through with no problems making a very hard to deal with situation so much easier. The process of dealing with medicade can be long and tedious, with Senior Planning, they navigated the process for us allowing us to deal with making our loved one as comfortable as possible. The cost I feel was worth what we may have had to spend out of pocket for the nursing home trying to navigate oursleves, Rivka who was out contact through this process was always there for us and was very professional but also compassionate.
Rachel Gilbert was awesome. She listened to our concerns and answered all questions we had. Rachel went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information. She helped us find assets that my dad had and we didn't know what to do with them. Rachel made the process very easy and less stressful. I would highly recommend Senior Planning Services. It was well worth the money spent to achieve the outcome we needed.
