If you have ever had to take care of an aging parent you know how overwhelming it can be. I first starting working with Paul and his team in 2011 when my Dad was coming to the end of his life due to cancer. Paul was able to help me find options for him in regards to homes and nursing. Now in 2025, Paul and his team has helped me find senior living for my Mom, along with movers. His team is incredibly empathic, very responsive, and patient as I had a million questions! I cannot say enough goods things about them as they made helping my Mom and making her happy so much easier (and there is NO CHARGE!). I highly recommend giving them a call!

Senior Living Specialists came alongside my family during a very difficult decline in my father's health. Amy was empathetic, patient and wise in providing us great options of where my father would be able to live. She educated us in a compassionate manner and provided amazing resources. We were able to quickly assess our options and found a facility providing excellent care and management to best fit our needs. I would highly recommend Senior Living Specialists to anyone going through the complicated maze of senior living.
First Off! Let me say, I'm not leaving this review because of any compensation or perk. I'm doing this to I hope help as many people as possible. Moving a loved one out of their home is not only stressful for them, but for the family making the decision. With 100s of Assisted Living Places all over the area, you want to know you are making the best decision for the loved one and for the family. Paul at Senior Living Specialists took all my concerns and listened to what was important. He spent 45 minutes on the phone with me trying to find out the type of person my best friend is that needed to find a place. I was honestly expecting an email with a list of places and said good luck, let me know. However, that didn't happen. Paul took the time to take the info I gave him, and selected places that fit OUR needs. He sent the intro emails to the facilities to set up the tour/visit. Provided me with a 3 page document of questions to ask and things to look for, THEN followed up after the tours. Once a selection was made, Paul did the negotiations to ensure we were getting the best deal we could. This process can be very overwhelming, and Paul took the uncertainty out of this and guided us through the process. If you have a family member or friend needing to move to the next step in life, I HIGHLY recommend Paul, and Senior Living Specialists. It COSTS YOU NOTHING and saves you stress, and drama from trying to do this on your own.
Matt Grider has been a blessing to our family. We had a family member in Plano moving from a rehab facility to an assisted living facility. Because we were unfamiliar with the area we had no idea how to begin a search for a quality facility. We were told about Senior Living Specialists, so we contacted Matt. He was quick to respond and quickly generated a list of three facilities. He contacted those facilities alerting them that we would be contacting them to set up a time to tour each facility. I cannot articulate how much his help expedited the search process. We had very little time to secure a place, so his help was instrumental in allowing us to secure an assisted living facility that has been a perfect fit for our loved one. We cannot thank Matt enough and would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for help during a very stressful time when seeking recommendations for assisted living facilities in the Plano area.
Paul at Senior Living Specialists was a wonderful, patient, and very helpful resource for finding memory care placement which I could feel good about for my dad. He also connected me with contacts to get helpful advice and help me figure out the absolute best place. It's a huge decision, and you want to make the right one for your family member and not rush into something.
