Let me begin with FIVE STARS for the staff and business procedures. Only taking off one star because sadly we went from needing companion care to certified care and Senior Helpers was short-handed. Now back to the regularly-scheduled review. My parents each had an aide for different reasons and at different times. Almost every one of them was outstanding. Overall: kind, caring, trustworthy, and helpful. Only one aide wasn't a "love connection" and she was immediately replaced. Tony was great, but AnnMarie really went ABOVE & BEYOND with communication, help, advice, etc. The nurse, the office staff, and the caregivers were wonderfully helpful and I HIGHLY recommend them. Especially Maria & Valentina as aides.
We have been very happy with Sr. Helpers of Manalapan. Both Tony and Ann Marie are extremely responsive and caring to our family's needs. Our aide Sheilla has been living with first my Mom and Dad, and now just my Dad for 2 1/2 years. She is wonderful and has become part of our family. When Sheilla got stuck in Ghana when Covid19 started, Sr. Helpers found us a caring, wonderful substitute, Naomi. We know we can depend on them!
To clarify; we only use overnight aides so they are there to help my Dad to bed, be there for him during the night and help him get up and dressed. So we don’t know what daytime care is like. But we are happy that when he wakes up and needs to be changed or cleaned up or comforted so he can get back to sleep, they are there for him.
Great company. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Billing is great spotless, no issues. My mom likes the helpers.
