Actually, I didn't want to give it a star either! I would have liked to have my mother (care level 3) accommodated at the AGO Bad Vilbel Senior Center and had previously requested a personal consultation by phone. I was then offered the opportunity to send the relevant registration forms to me via @ and return them completed along with the required reports and documents. My mother would then be put on a waiting list and could move in within 48 hours if a room became available!! Move in? I can't even think about moving in until I can get a first-hand impression of the entire facility! But that's not common practice in this facility and, due to the current staff shortage, isn't even feasible!! In response to a review from a year ago, you responded, "We have a competent residence manager on site who is always open to suggestions or points of criticism. You are welcome to contact the residence manager on site." How can that be if you're not allowed to enter the building until a room becomes available?! This isn't a friendly service; one star is too many. Unfortunately, not recommended for people who need support and active assistance.

Our mother spent her last three years in the Alloheim in Dörtelweil, and despite initial skepticism based on internet reviews, we were consistently pleasantly surprised. The medication and medical care was reliably organized, and personal hygiene as well as the condition of clothing and bed linen were always conscientiously ensured. The home offered a structured daily routine, customized meals with choices and loving touches such as coffee and cake in the afternoon. The premises were clean and the home actively supported residents through events and outings that supported mental and physical mobilization. Particularly noteworthy is the respectful treatment and human attention that our mother received - even in her final phase of palliative care. Thanks to the professional and warm support, our initial skepticism was completely dispelled. We would like to thank the dedicated Alloheim team for their excellent work, which enabled our mother to have a dignified and pleasant time.
A very well-kept nursing home, the staff are competent, helpful and friendly. The patient's diet is varied and adapted to the person's habits. The patients look well cared for and are treated decently.
I actually didn't want to give it any stars. Here the dead are still being robbed. We saw it ourselves. This is about little things that were still there shortly before her death, care items. Actually the house should be closed due to a lack of staff. Only foreign assistants available. At the Wetterau ward there were only two ice packs available for all patients. We very much regret having accommodated my dear mother-in-law there for 5 years. At the beginning it was fine. The current staff isn't even able to turn off the TV after a call. Likewise, the staff has not been able to make an appointment with the local ophthalmologist for two years. The same excuses over and over again, no one answers the phone in the practice, everything is a lie, sister. M. It continues with a stupid answer from management H. F. When an expensive item of laundry was completely discolored, the statement came up that this hasn't happened to you yet. The emergency call was under the bed several times. My mother-in-law could still be alive today if she had gotten a wheelchair. Had food been brought to her in bed. But neither thing was done.
I would have liked to place my father (care level 2) in the AGO Bad Vilbel senior center for short-term care. Apparently only patients who don't cause any major inconvenience are admitted there. When I asked by telephone whether there was a place available for short-term care, I was told that it was not possible to say exactly and that the geriatric clinic would please provide a care transfer form in advance. (Aha, so application documents). No sooner said than done. After the care transfer form had been sent to the AGO by the geriatric clinic and I asked about the status of the processing, it suddenly said, “We are sorry, we don’t have a place available for your father.” Very interesting that I couldn't be told that right away. What's even more interesting is that another AGO facility told me that there were free places in Bad Vilbel. But if the medical record doesn't fit the bill...then it's a rejection! Sad sad. If you look at it that way, you don't want to grow old or need care. But it can affect anyone, including those who are now active carers. With that in mind, I wish you all the best.
