My mother inlaw was in the horrible ran down place for around 3 weeks on transitional care, she had been in hospital and was meant to be, recovering and doing physiotherapy, so she was able to manage in her own home. On Sunday the 17th of November around 10am her husband, came into visit her and found her in a terrible way. She hadn't been changed all morning and was left in her own pee. She hadn't taken any of her medication, that her husband found in the medication cup, that was left with her, this is neglect and very dangerous, a nurse should never walk away and leave the person to take her own medication. She couldn't talk because of the pain she was in. Why was her husband not called and notified. She ended up in hospital due to the neglect, the doctors at the hospital said it was disgusting . So she ended up with a UTI. All this has done, is made everything that was done, go backwards Thanks to this horrible ran down place, ruined everything

My mum was a resident here for four months. The care she received was exceptional. The staff are caring and receptive to feedback, always striving to improve their service, including being patient and compassionate to residents with dementia. All needs are taken care of through in-house supports e.g. GP, allied health, pharmacy liaison for medication management, dietary adjustment with chef and nice food, personal care. Her room was clean, all furniture needs supplied, and a beautiful beach view.
Should be closed down . What a disgrace
