Highly recommend. The service and assistance provided by the staff for a family looking for Assited living was extraordinary, they took their time to explain to me and my family the options we had, they have different services according to the qualifications and needs of each person. In love with this amazing team
I appreciate my father’s caregiver and that’s the only reason I’m giving an extra star but the rest of the staff was terrible. My dad’s things would go missing even if I had labeled them. Things that I had purchased with my money for him. Then I’d find other resident’s clothing with their names on it among his things. They would take him to a ATM to get money out and I found discrepancies with what he allegedly paid them. They even gave him certain medications without communicating this to me. Getting through on the phone to someone was always difficult. Even when his PCP wanted to talk to someone they always struggled with communicating with them. Now my father is gone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They’re lucky I’m exhausted from grief because other people would go through different channels.
Having lived here for 6 months, I can tell you this facility is great. All of the staff are so friendly, warm and caring. The meals are delicious. Their services such as medicine administering, laundry services, meal delivery, room housekeeping, and consistent external medical vendors are excellent. This is my third assisted-living facility I've lived at, and Burbank Retirement Villa East is by far the best and cleanest facility thus far, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. This facility is more of an independent living based home, meaning it might not be the right facility if you require a lot of attention. There are over 100 residents, therefore you must practice patience and understanding when you require assistance. Lots of pleases and thank yous should be practiced. If you are honestly a needy person or complain a lot, this facility might not be the place for you. As long as you're nice to the staff and other residents, they will go out of their way to be friendly with you.
Excellent place to live and find peace of mind. All staff is super friendly and genuinely nice, so caring. Facilities have been remodeled, so rooms and community areas are clean and tidy. Meals are surprisingly delicious, good portions, and have alternate menu items. Laundry service is prompt and completed quickly. Recreational services are provided to all residents. If you're coming from another assisted-living facility, you will find this home as a much better facility. If this will be your first assisted-living facility, I strongly urge you and your family to go and compare with other facilities, then you will see how wonderful this place is.
